One of my newer obsessions is photographing sleeping bumblebees! I didn't learn until this year that male bumblebees aren't allowed to return to their nest and will hide out in plants and flowers at night to sleep.
I've spent so many evenings outside locating and photographing these guys!
I especially like to find them underneath the flower petals or with their little butt's sticking out of a flower!
Unsurprisingly, they really enjoyed snoozing in the bee balm flowers.
What was something you didn't learn until this year? I love learning and discovering new things!
